Who runs this site

Rincón del Mar (the "we") operates rincondelmar.club. For privacy questions email hola@rincondelmar.club.

What we collect

• Quote / contact form: name, email, message, tentative dates and group size.
• Bookings (account): email, name, optional phone, preferred language.
• Payments: Mercado Pago handles payments. We do not store card data on our servers.
• Technical data: IP, user-agent, referrer for basic analytics and abuse prevention (Cloudflare Turnstile).

Why

• Reply to your quote or booking.
• Coordinate your stay (check-in, chef, transport).
• Send confirmations, reminders and, when applicable, payment receipts.
• Notify you when a waitlisted property (Casa Chamán) opens — only if you asked.

Who we share with

• Mercado Pago — payment processor.
• Resend — transactional email.
• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, anti-bot.
• Beds24 — bookings and availability system.

We don't sell or share your data for third-party marketing.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for:

• Authenticated session (when you sign in with a magic link).
• Language preference (es / en).
• Minimal A/B test of the hero (no cross-site tracking).

No marketing or third-party advertising cookies.

Your rights

Email hola@rincondelmar.club to request access, rectification, cancellation or opposition to processing of your data. We respond within 20 business days.

Retention

We keep booking data while the contractual relationship is active and for the applicable legal term (5 years for tax purposes). Quote emails without a booking are deleted after 12 months.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top. We won't reduce your rights without explicit consent.

This is a base policy. If your usage requires more formal legal coverage (e.g. B2B contracts), email us to coordinate.
